Hand Embroidery (CBT – Level 2)
INTRODUCTION
Hand Embroidery is one of the oldest and most valued traditional crafts in Pakistan. From cultural dresses to modern fashion wear, embroidered designs play a significant role in enhancing the beauty and value of garments and decorative items. In earlier times, embroidery skills were passed down informally from generation to generation. However, with the growth of the fashion and textile industry, professional training has become essential to meet market standards and customer demands. The demand for skilled embroidery workers has increased significantly due to the expansion of boutique businesses, fashion houses, textile brands, and home-based enterprises. Modern consumers prefer high-quality, creative, and professionally finished embroidery designs. As a result, structured and competency-based training programs are necessary to ensure standardized skills and quality production. The Hand Embroidery (CBT – Level 2) course is designed to develop technical expertise and creative abilities in trainees. This program combines theoretical understanding with practical application, enabling students to produce professional embroidery work suitable for commercial and entrepreneurial purposes. The course aims to strengthen both traditional techniques and modern design concepts to meet evolving industry needs.
